Quiet Hours

  • Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Please turn off music, outdoor conversations, or other activities that may disturb your neighbors.
  • Generators must be turned off by 9:00 p.m. and may only be used during the day. Maximum noise allowance for generators in dry camp is 54 decibels.

Speed Limit & Vehicles

  • The speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the park. Please drive slowly and carefully at all times.
  • All Oregon traffic laws apply within the park.
  • Extra vehicles (including boats and trailers) must fit completely within your site. If they do not, overflow parking may be purchased at $5 per vehicle per night, boats/boat trailers are $10 per night.
  • ATVs are allowed but must follow the 5 MPH speed limit and may not be operated during quiet hours.
  • No skateboards, bikes, RC cars, or motorized vehicles may be ridden/driven recreationally inside the park.

Camp Sites

  • Full hook-up site rates are based on 2 adults and 1 camping unit. Additional costs apply for additional guests. Tents are only allowed in the dry camp area.
  • Dry camp sites allow one RV or one RV and one tent or two tents. Occupancy is limited to 6 people per site.
  • Please respect your neighbors by walking on streets and paths instead of cutting through other sites.
  • We do our best to honor site requests, but management may reassign sites if needed.
  • Portable gazebos or sunscreens require prior approval from management.
  • Please keep awnings attached securely to your RV.
  • Laundry may not be hung outside your RV.

Pets

  • We welcome pets, but they must be on a maximum 6 ft. leash at all times when outside your RV.
  • Please clean up after your pets immediately.
  • No more than 3 pets per site.
  • Restricted breeds: Pitbulls, Dobermans, and Rottweilers are not allowed.
  • Pets are not permitted in any buildings or in the grassy play area between the office and laundry room (reserved for kids and families).

Children

  • Children must always be under the supervision of a parent/guardian.
  • No playing in the street — please use your site or designated play areas.
  • Please accompany children to the restrooms, office, and laundry.

Garbage & Recycling

  • Garbage must be bagged and tied before being placed in dumpsters near the office.
  • Please do not put broken equipment, furniture, or household items in our dumpsters.
  • Crabbing and fishing remains must go in the dock cleaning station containers. If placed in dumpsters, they must be bagged.
  • Recycling is available! Please flatten boxes before putting them in the blue bins. (Note: glass and Styrofoam cannot be recycled here.)

Crabbing, Fishing, & Waterfront Safety

  • All crabs must be cleaned at the dock cleaning station. Please conserve water when cleaning.
  • No crabbing or fishing is allowed from our docks or other areas of the property.
  • Kayaks, canoes, and other small watercraft must be launched from the designated boat launch only (not from rocks in dry camp or other areas).
  • Please keep off the dike and riprap rocks. They are crucial for shoreline protection and can be very dangerous.
  • Do not throw rocks from the riprap into the bay.

Campfires & Cooking

  • Dry camp area: Wood campfires are allowed in provided fire rings.
  • Full hook-up area: Wood campfires are not allowed, but propane firepits are welcome.
  • Portable grills must not be placed on picnic tables. Any damage to tables will result in a $275 replacement charge.
  • Crab cooking: Guests are not permitted to use the crab cooking station themselves, but we are happy to cook your crab for you! Cooking must be pre-arranged with the office. Cost is $1 per crab ($10 minimum).

Facilities & Services

  • Wi-Fi is available throughout the park, but it is a complimentary service and not guaranteed.
  • Showers: $1 for 4 minutes. Each extra quarter adds 1 minute. If the shower stops completely, $1 is needed to restart.
  • Quarters are available in the office.
  • We sell ice, firewood, propane, and crabbing gloves (sizes S–XL).
  • Mail: USPS delivery is not available. Please use general delivery at the Waldport Post Office. UPS/FedEx will deliver to your site when possible; otherwise, packages will be left at the office.
  • On-site RV and boat storage is available — please inquire at the office.

Prohibited Items & Activities

  • Fireworks and firearms are prohibited (exception: fireworks purchased in Oregon may be used in dry camp on the 4th of July only, if no fire ban is in place).
  • No marijuana use in the park. Excessive alcohol or disruptive behavior may result in eviction without refund.
  • Please do not feed the birds.
  • No drone use over the campground — this protects guest privacy.
  • No political flags or banners.
  • No on-site charging for electric vehicles (we currently cannot support EV charging).

Liability

Your safety and enjoyment are very important to us. We work hard to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, but please remember that all guests use the park at their own risk. McKinley’s RV Park & Marina assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, theft, or damages to people, pets, or property —including those caused by natural events such as fire, flood, or wind. We encourage you to take normal precautions, secure valuables, and supervise children and pets at all times.
